It is not possible that meditation alone will help you in your drive to loose fat and keeping yourself fit.

The gaining of weight is more often related to the stress levels. When you resort to leisure and food, which you love, to take away the stress, most damage is done.

You feel emotional and more sensitive than normal on some days. Whenever you find yourself feeling overwhelmed in social settings or craving quiet solitude, exercise, mediation or yoga is the answer. The strong emotions lead you to keep a lower profile. If you are able to limit your activities and engage in some peaceful pursuits, it is possible to restore your serene mind-set and regain your energy again. Your sensitivity, the result of feeling run down or stressed, in such circumstances do begin with some tension-reducing exercises like yoga, gentle stretching, and deep breathing. Spend some time in meditation and envision yourself surrounded by invigorating energy, you should feel a sense of lightness and joy beginning to infuse your mind and body. Keep a regular practice which prevents you from becoming too drained in the future. After all as said, time and time again by generations, prevention is better than cure.

Spending time in peaceful solitude also helps us feel more positive and energized. Stress often builds up in our bodies and minds and leaves us feeling worn down or overly sensitive to any stress leading reasons around us. Actively releasing stress from our bodies through yoga, pranayama (breathing exercise associated with the yoga) and meditation effectively makes us feel calmer and more in control. Using the power of our minds to focus on more positive thoughts lets us infuse us with energy and vitality. We feel stronger and more balanced, and ready take on our normal activities again even if it is a cause of stress in the first place. If you spend time releasing tension from your body and mind today, you will give yourself the gift of energy and vitality.
